Episode 17 | Propelling Past a Pandemic while Protecting Your Mental Space with Executive Coach & Entrepreneur, Ariane Hunter

THE CREATORS’ EDITION

Fun fact.
Ariane Hunter and I met each other for the first time, through a mutual friend, on vacation. It was 2018. In Greece. On a private catamaran rented by our friend group. For a 10-day trip. I mean. Bougie. Having navigated her way through a cushy career in Corporate America to being a self employed badass entrepreneur, Founder of The Mentors Circle, I nabbed her and invited her into the Lounge to share her story. Ariane shares advice to budding business owners out there who may be feeling demotivated to launch their creations due to the global pandemics (COVID and the Black Lives Matter movement). We touch on what protecting her mental health looks like during this time and share tangible tips on how you can protect yours.

GET TO KNOW ARIANE HUNTER

Ariane is a dreamer by nature and has charted her own unconventional career path as an MBA holding marketing/advertising professional, a photographer, career coach, and entrepreneur. Inspired by the passion, courage, and brilliance of her clients as well as her own love for helping women discover and follow their dreams.

Ariane is the Founder of The Mentors Circle -- a mentoring service for women of color to provide mentoring support to emerging business leaders. The work is dedicated to building a legion of change-makers, thought leaders, trailblazers and status quo disruptors. Her work (re)inspires women to pursue their dreams and find fulfillment doing work they can be proud of.

The Mentors Circle is providing a scholarship opportunity to 5 promising black women entrepreneurs with one full year of FREE mentor sessions. Why? Because the first five years of starting a business are the most critical and without access to quality mentorship support, that won’t break the bank, new entrepreneurs miss out the necessary resources to jumpstart their businesses. This can result in lost time, money and energy.
